Research & development

We are continually looking to provide additional value to our customers by developing the next generation of priming and coating technologies, as well as exploring the potential of other novel seed technologies for improved agronomic performance.

Our multifunctional R&D teams, are working to bringing new technologies and advances to the market that will allow the maximum potential of the seed’s genetics to be realised over a wider range of growing conditions.

Highly trained specialists in Seed Physiology, Biochemistry, Materials Science, and Microbiology work together in project teams based at sites in the UK, the Netherlands and USA.  The geographical spread of locations enables  them to respond better to the changing needs in the different markets, and ensures that innovations in one area can readily be shared with others.

Before new product developments are transferred to commercial production, they are validated through a combination of partnership testing programmes with clients and research institutes, and in-house laboratory and agronomic assessment.
